Before DaVinci Resolve, there was a paintbrush. Titash spent seven years painting on canvas and paper, an early habit that quietly built the eye for color, light, and mood he still relies on today. Growing up on a steady diet of Hollywood films, he carried one simple wish to one day be part of the movies he loved. That pull led him to a three year VFX course, and eventually into work as a roto artist. It wasn't quite the right fit. Then came the pandemic, and with it, unexpected time to explore. That's when he found color grading, and completed FCM, an intensive program by colorist Waqaz Qazi. He never looked back.
Titash Chowdhury is a freelance film colorist specializing in color grading for Music videos, Brand Films, Short Films, and Feature Films. With a lifelong passion for color and a strong visual sensibility, he approaches every project with both technical discipline and genuine creative investment.

He operates from a dedicated studio equipped with a calibrated reference display, professional bias lighting, and a three-monitor setup running DaVinci Resolve Studio. His process begins with a thorough understanding of the director's brief, studying references, aligning on the look and feel, and building a grade that serves the story rather than overriding it. Equally comfortable with naturalistic skin tones and bold, pushed cinematic looks, he reads what each project demands and grades accordingly.
Collaboration is central to how he works. Directors consistently find him attentive to their vision and precise in his execution, making the process smooth from the first session to the final delivery. He has worked with clients across the globe and brings the same level of care and communication to every project regardless of scale. His grades have been part of projects including FILA's ad campaign, a commercial for The Pink Foundary, and the music video "Fall For You," featured on VEVO.
